Albany, GA. (July 30, 2020) – The Wheels and Reels events scheduled for this weekend 7/31 - 8/1 in the Albany Civic Center Parking Lot have been postponed, after an employee of the Flint River Entertainment Complex reported a positive COVID-19 test.
As a commitment to the health and safety of our employees, guests and partners, the complex had put into place a detailed and comprehensive reopening plan several months ago. That plan includes temperature checks, screening questions and face masks for all employees and subcontractors each time they enter the facility, comprehensive cleaning and sanitization, and various policies and procedures related to personnel health and well fare. To uphold our responsibility as managers and in order to comply with our policies, it is with an abundance of caution that we have decided to reschedule the movie events for a later date.
We are taking the appropriate measures as instructed under the guidance of local, state, and federal governments and guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We thank you for your patience and understanding and look forward to the return of events and patrons in the near future.
Tickets for both event dates July 31 and August 1, will be refunded at point of purchase. Refunds will be made in the same method of payment used to originally purchase tickets.
