The MLK Dinner sponsored by the Albany Ministerial Conference is taking place at the Albany Civic Center on January 14 at 6 PM. The speaker is Mr. Isaac Bruce, former San Francisco 49er and Los Angeles Ram, who was inducted to National Football Hall of Fame.
Individual tickets are $75.00, and a table for 8 is available for $600.00. Tickets can be purchased at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 214 E. Oglethorpe Blvd. Monday through Wednesday from 9 AM to 2 PM. Proceeds go to scholarships for local schools of higher education. The attire for the event is semi-formal dress.
