WHAT IS AMA CHALKFEST?
AMA ChalkFest is a fall festival that the Albany Museum of Art hosts in downtown Albany. In its fifth year, it will feature amazing professional chalk artists, who will create images inspired by famous pop artists that are at least 50 square feet on the street.
AMA ChalkFest will have craft beer tents and libation stations for product tastings, community participation, live entertainment, food trucks, and local vendors.
WHEN IS AMA CHALKFEST?
It will be Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 10 am-5 pm.
WHERE WILL AMA CHALKFEST BE HELD?
The event will take place this year at a new downtown Albany location—the 100 block of South Front Street adjacent to the Albany Civic Center, where ample parking will be available. Entertainment will be performed on the stage at the Veteran Park Amphitheatre.
IS THERE AN ADMISSION CHARGE?
No, ChalkFest dropped its gate admission in 2021. It is now free for everyone. There will be security checks at the entrance.
CRAFT BEER TENTS & LIBATION STATIONS TASTINGS
Guests 21 years old and older will need to purchase a bracelet at the ChalkFest Store tent for tastings at our craft beer tents and libation stations. Photo identification confirming age will be required to purchase a bracelet.
